The Webby Awards

The Webby Awards winners were just announced.

Perhaps it's just my strong personal shift toward the pragmatic, but I'm not sure these winners are all that great. Some incredible talent at work, no doubt. But are they really useful? Do they have a clear business purpose? Are they accomplishing it?

I'm underwhelmed by many of those sites. Several seemed impractical, others were too cluttered IMHO. My favorite? The Behr site, hands down.

Agreed - Behr did a great job. I think they could have done a slightly better job of incorporating marketing elements, but from a utility standpoint - they nailed it.
