Another take on buying a computer

Chris says I'm wrong and has a different take on buying a computer. I think his method over-assumes technical sophistication (and interest) on the part of the buyer and under-assumes interest in a good deal, but he has some good tips too, especially the 2nd hard drive idea.

Chris also gets huge kudos for turning me onto the spell checker for FireFox. This thing rules! (and boy do I need it)
