I need some MP3 player advice.

Here's what I'm looking for:

  • Budget: $150-ish (so no iPod)
  • Most memory possible (hopefully at least 512MB)
  • Small
  • Must show up as a removable disk without any drivers needed when I connect via USB
  • Supports wma, mp3 and napster/walmart/etc.

I like this only it requires drivers when you connect it in order to move music and files back and forth. (which is dumb, don't want that).

Any recommendations?

IRiver - they have MP3, WMA and OGG support, good windows, mac and linux drivers and have a really slick formfactor.

You might check out a RIO -- I like it because it's small and you can add flash memory (SD Chip) if you decide you want more songs/space. I run and bike alot so this was a perfect fit for me. Just a thought...
